Who We Are _
Lancaster Piano Studio is a teaching studio downtown, offering one-to-one, weekly piano lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. With ages ranging from 5-Adult, our instructors work with clients that
are new to formal training, those looking to progress their musical education, and others that are returning for continued instruction. Due to our diverse clientele, LPS creates highly personalized lessons specific to each student built upon 'Classical' fundamentals.
Why We Do It _
Traditionally, students' education is framed by their instructors' experience and preferences, limiting broader, musical interactions. You could say that teachers 'teach how they were taught,' which undeniably only reaches a specific group of students. LPS's approach redirects this idea and frames our students' education around a strong knowledge of Classical study in order to pursue every stem of musical excellence specific to each individual. Whether our students become concert pianists, composers, singer-songwriters, music teachers, studio musicians, music engineers, or hobbyists, our aim is to equip our learners with the tools needed to pursue any musical outlet.
